LES SENTIERS CONFLICTUELS & ANDREW KING - 1888 OUT NOW

The first full lenght release by french formation Les Sentiers Conflictuels after two succesfull vynil releases will be released mid october On this cinematographic album, Andrew King reads the strange letters signed Jack the Ripper Scotland Yards received in late 1888 on a disturbing neoclassical soundtrack with some cold foggy drones and sounds of archive (mechanical noises, operettes and old cylinders samples). A dark journey into the wet sinuous streets of Whitechapel, London 1888... In some aspects, this release reminds the collaboration between Blood Axis and LJDLP both in style and intensity. Limited edition 3 pannel digipack.

GOLGATHA SECOND ALBUM INSPIRED BY SIR THOMAS EDWARD LAWRENCE

The second Golgatha release based on english writer and aventurier Thomas Edward Lawrence (also known as Lawrence of Arabia) will be released as a digipack mid september. Expect again the best from this fantastic german formation mixing ritual atmospheric soundtrack and neo-folk tunes. While the first released saw the participation of Patrick Leagas, this new one features another founding member of Death in June, Tony Wakeford.

ATNR034 Grey Force Wakeford Marble Heart CD

Athanor is proud to present the debut release of Grey Force Wakeford, a collaborative project between the three kult post-industrial figures that are Kris Force, Nick Grey and Tony Wakeford. Listeners familiar with their indivual and collective works (Sol Invictus, Amber Asylum, 230 Divisadero...).

Force and Grey craft a general climate of neo-classical acoustic technique and chamber music arrangements, meeting up with Wakeford's ownset of aesthetics and conjuring a heart-warming, post-jazzy, epic fusion of the senses.

The CD is presented as a 6 pages digifiles based on a fantastic original artwork by David V. D'Andrea (www.dvdandrea.com) who is amongst others famous for his posters and covers created for Ulver, Queens of the Stone Age, Witchcraft, OM etc.

Lapis Niger symbolises the black diamond of Draconian Alchemy, the eternal star of Thaumiel of the Qliphotic Qabalah. Thus following a magician´s inner journey, this musical expression opens up the gate to the world of Samael, averse counterpart of the Sephirah Hod in the Qabalah. At The Throne of Melek Taus draws inspiration from the world of the Yezidis, the small Kurdish sect that still worships Melek Taus, the peacock god, also known as Shaitan.

Lapis Niger is a new dark magical ambient project by Tommie Eriksson, Swedish author and musician, who’s work is an expression of the Draconian Current as channelled in Dragon Rouge – Ordo Draconis et Atri Adamantis.
